World’s Brainiest?

I was reading here today of a woman who changed her name to Pudsey Bear for charity. Changing our name is a brilliant way to make money. 

I was wondering if I would be allowed to change my name to Inland Revenue.

It would be great to live next door to the Tax Office and get all the  misdirected post. Particularly the cheques. As Ken Dodd says… I will be reunited with my money.  The difficulty would be opening a bank account.

‘I want to open a bank account’

‘What name?’

‘Inland Revenue’

‘We already have one of those’

‘Yeh, but I live at a different address’

Of course the money would not be mine and some might say

‘Is that not fraud?’ and I would simply reply…

‘No he lives next door!’.

This is only light banter… in no way do I condone fraud on any scale.
